Welcome to J.M. Shah & Co. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of steel products from us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Quotations & Pricing

Due to the volatile nature of the steel market, all prices quoted on our website or via email are:

Subject to change without prior notice until a Purchase Order (PO) is officially accepted by us.
Valid for 24 hours only, unless specified otherwise in writing.
Ex-Works (Ex-Godown) unless a "Landed Rate" (FOR) is explicitly agreed upon.

2. Orders & Payment Terms

Confirmation: An order is considered confirmed only upon receipt of an advance payment or a valid Purchase Order (PO).
Payment: Standard terms are 100% advance against Proforma Invoice. Credit terms (if applicable) are subject to prior approval and valid Bank Guarantees or Letters of Credit (LC).
Taxes: GST (18%) and other applicable levies are extra and will be charged as per government regulations.

3. Quality & Mill Test Certificates (MTC)

We take pride in supplying only prime material.

MTC: An original Mill Test Certificate from the manufacturer (SAIL/JSW/AMNS) will be provided with the invoice.
Verification: The buyer is responsible for verifying the material (Heat Numbers/Section weight) at the time of unloading.
Claims: Any quality disputes must be raised within 48 hours of receipt. Once the material is cut, fabricated, or used, no return claims will be entertained.

4. Delivery & Logistics

Transit Risk: For Ex-Works shipments, the risk transfers to the buyer once the truck leaves our stockyard. Transit insurance is the buyer's responsibility.
Weighment: The weight recorded at our computerized weighbridge (or the manufacturer's weighbridge) shall be final and binding for billing purposes.
Unloading: Detention charges for trucks held at the buyer's site for more than 4 hours will be billed to the buyer.

5. Limitation of Liability

J.M. Shah & Co. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of project profit or delays) arising from the supply of goods, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Jurisdiction

All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
